  1. The puerto rico logos is working well compare to the salzburg one. The puerto rico logo is fun and playful in design. the font should be explored more and there should be more version of puerto rico logo.

  2. The Puerto Rico logo functions better than the Salzburg logo which is more of pattern. The amphibian abstraction seems a bit rough right now; try to make the appearance of the feet more consistent. Also, there is a disconnect between your icon and type. The type should feel more energetic or playful like your amphibian.

  3. Ye, the icon is looking great. Its very fun and festive. But basically all you have to do is the type choice. Try different type styles and even adding slight elements from your icon to the type like a brush treatment or even having some letters merge.

  4. i enjoy your choice of icon for the Puerto Rico logo...The type doesn't go well with the overall logo...maybe something more playful. You can even see if you want to play with the logo colors, for example, maybe make the eyes a different color.

  5. I too am partial to the Puerto Rico logo. I like the choice of type as well, the smooth round letters are consistent with the roundness of the frog. However, I am unsure of why a frog is an iconic representation of the city. The Salzburg design is nice too, but doesn't really seem like an Olympic logo to me.

  6. I like the Puerto Rico one best. I like the frog shape. I think you can be more creative with it and have the shape of he frog be even more symbolic and connected to the Olympics more than the city. I also like how you have the image way larger than the rest. The font might be a bit too simple but I think it could work if the image is a little more complicated.

  7. I like the Puerto Rico logo the best. Its so cute. Is it the same green as the Olympic ring? Also, Im not a fan of the type treatment, but your icon is awesome.

  8. the top one works better but the icon seems a bit separated from the text. Try different typefaces. You may also want to try stacking the year under Puerto Rico.

  11. The frog is a very nice icon, it's fun and a great abstraction. I would change the typeface though, maybe something the looks hand drawn to tie in with the frog, so the whole logo would look more unified.

  12. I love the icon. The frog is very well illustrated. It's unique. The overall look of the logo is well balanced and designed. One thing I would change about it is the size of the icon compare to the rest of the logo.

  13. The Puerto Rico is very playful, I agree with most of the people on here. I think that it makes the viewer do a double take because it's in your face.

The type does look disconnected to your icon. Maybe a more organic or rounder type would work.

  14. I like the look of the abstract frog on #1. I would play around with the type some more. =)

I think if you were to go for #2, I would try having one flower by itself. Having so many flowers being repetitious can make it look a bit busy. =)

  15. Definitely PR. The Salzburg version doesnt even function as a logo. Try some color and type variation of size. Does the city name need to be the same size as the year. Do the rings need to be that large. think of order of information and that probably will dictate the size variations.

  16. I like what you did on Puerto Rico more. You have a really good idea to use a natural symbol(object)to present the impression of the country. Maybe add some texture to it.
